El Nido is a municipality, not just a town. Most of what people mean by the name is the town proper and Bacuit Bay in front of it — but the beaches worth the trip are spread along thirty kilometres of coast.

How to read this

The town sits on the east side of Bacuit Bay, under the limestone of Taraw. The islands scattered west of it are the island-hopping tours: everything Tours A to D visit is inside that bay. The single road runs south towards Puerto Princesa and north-east past the airport towards Nacpan, Duli and eventually Sibaltan on the far coast.
