Sibaltan

El Nido's east coast — a heritage village, and the kitesurfing season the west coast does not get.

Sibaltan sits on the other side of the peninsula, facing east, and that orientation gives it a season of its own. The amihan blows from roughly November to April, holding 12 to 15 knots for much of it and reaching 20 to 30 in December and January, which has grown a small kitesurfing scene along the beach — including Kite Club Palawan, run locally with IKO-certified instructors.

It is also the oldest-settled part of the municipality, with a heritage village and a museum, and it is far enough from the town proper that almost no day-tripping visitor gets there. That is the appeal.

About an hour across the peninsula from the town proper, on the east coast.
