Lio Beach
A planned estate north of town, near the airport — the most polished end of El Nido, with a beachfront strip of shops and restaurants.
Lio is an Ayala Land development managed by Ten Knots, which is a different thing from the rest of El Nido: laid out rather than grown, with a commercial strip beside the beach and a cluster of restaurants, cafés and craft shops around it. The beach itself is wide, clean and quiet compared with anything in town.
It is where El Nido airport is, so it is the first and last thing many visitors see. Staying here means calm and space, and a tricycle every time you want the town.
Getting there
About twenty minutes north of the town proper. El Nido airport is inside the estate.
