Deleting your account
You only have an account here if you chose to sign in to send us something about a place. This page says how to delete it, and what happens to what you sent.
In the app
Open the star button at the top of the map, then the account icon on the screen it opens. Choose “Delete my account” and confirm. Nothing goes straight away: you have a day to change your mind, and the same screen offers “Keep my account” for the whole of it.
What is deleted
Your sign-in, and every photograph you sent us. Once the day has passed both are removed, and the sign-in cannot be brought back.
What is kept
The corrections you sent stay, with your name and your account taken off them. A note saying a restaurant closed in June is a fact about that restaurant rather than about you, and a page we changed because of it has to keep some record of where that came from. Nothing kept this way points to you. What you starred, listed or noted was never sent to us at all — it is a file on your phone, and removing the app removes it.
If you cannot open the app
Write to intbh@laposte.net from the address you signed in with, and we will delete the account for you.
